The one thing that moms appreciate the most on Mother’s Day is to have the family together. That’s really all she cares about. But there’s also something special that will make her time with you more enjoyable – keep her out of the kitchen. Treat your mom to a special Brunch at the Woodpile.

Our doors will open at 10am that day and we will serve our Mother’s Day Brunch until 1pm. We will also have a Special Dinner for evening dining. Reservations strongly recommended.

Our Brunch MENU features our new ‘Woodpile Sunrise’ a tasty pork schnitzel covered with egg and our Hollandaise Sauce, BBQ Chicken, Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Sausage, Pancakes, Fruit, Granola, and scrumptious Desserts await you and Mom! Tea, coffee and juices included – and a Special Woodpile Surprise for your Mom!

It’s A Mardi Gras Party! – May 15th

j0382572

The Decor

The setting is the French Quarter of New Orleans with elaborate feathered masks for the ladies and gentlemen. Bring some beads and get ready for the traditional Mardi Gras celebration of Louisiana.

The Music

The carefully selected music is a Cajun and Jazz mix with songs like “Rock Me Baby”, by Big Mama Thornton, “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, by Bessie Smith or “Mardi Gras in New Orleans”, by the familiar tunes of Professor Longhair.

The Food

In Woodpile style, the food is authentic and REAL. Seafood Gumbo teases the pallet as the starter to an entree of Cajun Vegetables, Crab Cakes, Creole Chicken and Cajun Shrimp. Sip those Mardi Gras favourite drink selections, like the Hurricane.

Reservations Required – Please call 613-757-2288 or email your request or inquiry to woodpilerestaurant@hughes.net

PRIVATE THEME PARTIES ALWAYS A HIT. BOOK YOUR OWN!

We're Easy to Find

There are many enjoyable and scenic routes to get to the Woodpile Restaurant, located at the town centre of Round Lake at 2686 Round Lake Road. You can Google Woodpile Restaurant or just follow our directions!

From Pembroke or Petawawa - 38 km from Hwy 17 follow Round Lake Road (Hwy 58/62) to Round Lake Centre. Did you know that following Round Lake Road and taking Simpson's Pit Road at Round Lake Centre to Hwy 60 is a shortcut to the South?

From Eganville or Golden Lake - 42km or 27km - at Hwy 60 and Killaloe Junction (Hwy 512) turn right onto Round Lake Road (Hwy 58)

From Wilno or Barry's Bay - 20km or 30km - following Highway 60 turn left at the big flashing light - Simpson's Pit Road (a great paved road that ends in Round Lake Centre) - if you miss it, proceed to Killaloe Junction (Hwy 512) and turn left onto Round Lake Road (Hwy 58)

From Bonnechere Provincial Park - head Northwest towards the village of Bonnechere, and proceed 6.5 km to Round Lake Centre. We have a large Woodpile Restaurant sign and we are before the church on the left.
